Punched border, distressed edges, shabby stitches.

Flower Basket

An "all accasions" card. The flower basket is a new stamp by Darkroom Door. I inked it up with 3 different colors of Distress Ink, used a Mini Mister to spray water on the inked stamp. After stamping it on smooth watercolor paper I stamped it once more with Versafine #Onyx Black ink. Een kaartje voor "alle gelegenheden". Het bloemenmandje is een nieuwe stempel van Darkroom Door. De stempel met 3 kleuren Distress Inkt beïnkt, beneveld met water uit een Mini Mister en afgedrukt op glad aquarelpapier. Nog eens opnieuw afgedrukt met Versafine #Onyx Black.

I stamped the French Script background stamp and sponged with Distress Ink #Rusty Hinge.

I used a pencil to add a bit more color to the flowers.

De French Script achtergrondstempel er overheen gestempeld met Distress Inkt #Rusty Hinge, en de achtergrond gesponst. Met een kleurpotlood de bloemen nog wat meer kleur gegeven.

I stamped the holly on a watercolored background, embossed the stars in the Cuttlebug.

De hulststempel is afgedrukt op een gekleurde achtergrond. Sterren geëmbossed in de Cuttlebug.

The big tag was cut out with Tim Holtz Alternations #Tag and Bookplates in the Cuttlebug. "Joy" was stamped on a mini label with India Ink Black.

I used Distress Inks and pencils to color the image.

A card I made for the shoes challenge at Inkurable Stampers blog.

Een kaartje voor de schoenen uitdaging bij Inkurable Stampers.

I stamped with India Ink Black, masked the shoes and the playing child and sponged the background with Distress Inks. I used a golden watercolor pencil on the bugs, just colored them in, I didn't use water.

Alles met India Ink Black gestempeld. Het spelend kind en de schoenen gemaskerd en de achtergrond met Distress Inkt gesponst. De kevers met een gouden aquarelpotlood ingekleurd, gewoon droog, geen water gebruikt.

Art Journey - When Words Escape...

I stamped and masked the bug, stamped and masked the rose. Colored them with pencils. I heat embossed the bug, using a Versamark pen and clear embossing powder.

Het insekt gestempeld en gemaskerd, de roos ook gestempeld en gemaskerd. Ingekleurd met potloden. Het insekt geëmbossed met een Versamark stift en kleurloos embossingpoeder.

Art Journey - Wall Hanging

Wall hanging made with new Art Journey stamps. I stamped 3 ATCs and connected them with twine. The "driftwood" at the top and bottom are cuttings from a Hydrangea in our garden.

Muurhanger, gemaakt met nieuwe Art Journey stempels. De ATCs zijn verbonden met een touwtje. Het "drijfhout" zijn hydrangeatakjes uit onze tuin.

Photo Inspiration - 3

Inspired by a Hibiscus in our garden. I stamped the Hero Arts flower with Distress Ink on watercolor paper, and used a damp brush on the flower center. The petals are colored with pencils. I stamped leaves (PSX) on a watercolored background, and a few extra leaves to cut out.

Inspiratie voor deze kaart kwam van een Hibiscus in de tuin. De Hero Arts bloem met Distress inkt gestempeld op aquarelpapier, en het hart met een nat penseel bewerkt. De rest van de bloemblaadjes is met potloden ingekleurd. Blaadjes (PSX) op een ecoline achtergrond gestempeld, en een paar blaadjes extra om uit te knippen.

These ATCs are made with Darkroom Door's Montmartre stamp set.

Enkele ATCs, gemaakt met de Montmartre stempelset van Darkroom Door.

I stamped the Moulin Rouge stamp with Archival Black ink on red cardstock and colored it with pencils. I embossed the bottom part in the Cuttlebug. Finished off with the postmark stamp from the same set, and a vellum strip, heat embossed, from the Ornate Elements set. Sticky Pearls from Hero Arts.

De Moulin Rouge stempel is met zwarte inkt van Archival op rood kaartkarton gestempeld, beetje ingekleurd met potloden. Onderaan een stukje geëmbossed in de Cuttlebug. Afgewerkt met een post-datumstempel en een vellum strookje, geëmbossed met Ranger Seafoam White, uit de Ornate Elements set. Plakparels van Hero Arts.

I showed the Sacré Coeur ATC already a few weeks ago. The image is stamped and heat embossed on a watercolored background.

De Sacré Coeur ATC toonde ik al eerder. De afdruk is geëmbossed op een ecoline achtergrond.

I used the kids stamp on a Ecoline/Shadowpaint background and colored it in with pencils.

Gothic Arch - Christmas

Inkurable Gothic Arches Challenge #13 was posted : Christmas.

As I was looking for Christmas stamps I found some stamped images from last Christmas in one of my Darkroom Door tins. So I used those.

I colored the background with Distress Inks. The star brad is heat embossed with gold to match the ornament and edges.

Bij Inkurable Gothic Arches zijn een paar nieuwe uitdagingen gepost, uitdaging #13 is Christmas. Bij het uitzoeken van stempels voor deze arch vond ik een paar kant-en-klare afdrukken van vorige kerst in één van de Darkroom Door blikjes. Dus heb ik die gebruikt. Achtergrond is met Distress Inkt gekleurd. De zilverkleurige ster is met goud geëmbossed, zodat ze bij de rest past.

Een lijstje met een zomer's thema, gemaakt met nieuwe stempels van Darkroom Door.

Stamped on kraft cardstock with Memories #Midnight Blue, and colored with pencils. I drew a frame around the stamped image, using a white pencil.

Met Memories #Midnight Blue gestempeld op kraft cardstock. Ingekleurd met potloden. Met het witte potlood heb ik er een lijstje omheen getekend.

Love Birds

Do you remember these? When I received the Love Birds stamp set from Darkroom Door, I had to try something quick and easy. I stamped the birds with Versamark ink, and colored them very quickly with pastel pencils, here's the blogpost about it: click.

This weekend I had the time to finish the card.

Herken je deze vogels nog? Toen ik de Love Birds stempelset van Darkroom Door ontving, moest is snel iets proberen. Ik stempelde de vogels met Versamark inkt, en kleurde ze met pastelpotloden. Hier is het blogbericht: klik.

Dit weekend had ik tijd om het kaartje af te maken.

I cut a post-it heart and used it to sponge Distress Ink around it. Used a paper piercer to make the holes, and hand stitched the heart.

Uit een post-it briefje een hart geknipt en als maskertje gebruikt om de Distress Inkt te sponzen. Rondom het hart gaatjes geprikt, en de stiksteekjes met de hand genaaid.

Machine zigzag stitches.
