Black & White - 43

Today's black & white card is a masculine card, made with 2 new stamps from Darkroom Door, the Motorcycle photo stamp and the criss cross background stamp. I used black Archival Ink from Ranger. Words are cut from Darkroom Door's Wordstrips #Venetian.

Black leather triangle is used as a photo corner.

Twee nieuwe stempels van Darkroom Door gebruikt voor mijn zwart-wit kaart. Het is een mannenkaart geworden. Gestempeld met zwarte Archival inkt van Ranger. Woorden gebruikt uit de Wordstrips #Venetian van Darkroom Door. Een lederen driehoekje geknipt en als fotohoekje gebruikt.

It's Black & White Saturday on my blog. I made a very quick and super easy card, using one of Darkroom Door's new photo stamps, combined with a few stamps from the Christmas Reindeer set, to turn it into a Christmas card.

Zaterdag is zwart-wit dag op mijn blog. Een heel snel en super makkelijk kaartje, gemaakt met één van de nieuwe Darkroom Door fotostempels, gecombineerd met een paar stempeltjes uit de Christmas Reindeer set. Zo werd het een kerstkaartje.

This week's Black & White creation as a mini album. I cut a tag using Tim Holtz' Alterations "Tag & Bookplates" stamped the Star Background from Darkroom Door, and folded it into a cover. The bookplate is from the same Alterations die.

Mijn zwart-wit creatie van deze week is een mini boekje. Met de Tim Holtz Alterations stans "Tag & Bookplates" een label uitgestanst, een achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door er op afgedrukt en een kaftje geplooid. Versierd met een uitgestanste bookplate.

The pages are glued together, no bookbinding here. I got this idea from a gift I received from Sylvie

De bladzijden zijn aan elkaar geplakt, er kwam geen boekbinden aan te pas. Gezien bij een kadootje dat ik van Sylvie ontving.

Today's black & white item is a scrapling or gift label.

Vandaag een scrapling of kadolabel gemaakt voor mijn zwart-wit reeks.

I used Darkroom Door's Santa stamp on schrink foil. My edges are never straight, I wonder why?

De kerstman stempel van Darkroom Door gebruikt op krimpfolie. Ik krijg nooit rechte randen, vraag me af hoe dat komt?

Metal star from my stash. It is meant to be attached with an eyelet, but I glued it onto the cardstock with Judikins Diamond Glaze, and put a black sticky pearl from Hero Arts in the center.

Metalen ster uit mijn voorraad. Is bedoeld om met een eyelet te bevestigen, maar ik heb het met Judikins Diamond Glaze vastgeplakt met een zwarte plakparel van Hero Arts in 't midden.

Today's black & white card is another Christmas card. I used 2 good old favorite stamps from Hero Arts.

If the scalloped circle had 6 black scallops instead of 7, I wouldn't have to use a binder clip to make the card stand upright. Have to remember that :)

Vandaag weer een kerstkaartje gemaakt voor mijn zwart-wit reeks. 2 Oude favoriete Hero Arts stempels gebruikt.

Indien de geschulpte cirkel 6 zwarte boogjes had ipv 7, dan had ik geen papierklem moeten gebruiken om de kaart rechtop te laten staan. Onthouden voor de volgende keer :)

I folded this little box from white Papicolor cardstock. I decorated the lid with stamped images from Art Journey. The border is not stamped, it's just fantasy tape.

Een doosje geplooid met wit kaartkarton van Papicolor. De afbeelding op het deksel is gestempeld met Art Journey stempels. De boord is niet gestempeld, het is bedrukt plakband.

Inside are a bunch of 2" x 2" gift labels, stamped with Art Journey's Holiday stamps.

In dit doosje zitten een setje kadolabels, gestempeld met kerststempels van Art Journey. De kaartjes meten ong. 5,5 cm.

If you have some tape in your stash, and you own Art Journey stamps, you can still enter Art Journey's Challenge #2, it's about using tape.

Als je plakband in je voorraad hebt, en ook Art Journey stempels, dan kan je nog altijd meedoen aan Art Journey Challenge #2, waar het thema tape/plakband is.

Combined with a Christmas Seal stamp from Art Journey. I keep each Art Journey set in a CD case, perfect size.

Stamped with Versafine #Onyx Black and cut out with Spellbinders Nestabilities.

Deze sneeuwman vind ik ZO leuk! Het is een Stampotique stempel ontworpen door Jo Capper-Sandon.

Gecombineerd met een kerst seal stempel van Art Journey. De Art Journey stempels bewaar ik per set in een CD doosje, past precies.

A 4" x 4" card for my black & white series.

I stamped the birdcage on white cardstock and cut off the bottom part. Glued onto an embossed background.

Een vierkant kaartje van 10 cm voor mijn zwart-wit reeks. Het vogelkooitje is op wit kaartkarton gestempeld, het onderste deel heb ik afgeknipt. De achtergrond is geëmbossed in de Cuttlebug.

I heat embossed the Starburst Lace stamp and colored the tag with Glimmer Mist #Raven.

De kantstempel is geëmbossed met kleurloos embossingpoeder, daarna de tag gekleurd met Glimmer Mist #Raven.

I didn't want to waste the Glimmer Mist, so I picked it up from my craftsheet with these ATC-size pieces of cardstock. No idea what I'm going to do with them yet.

De Glimmer Mist of het craftsheet wou ik niet verloren laten gaan, dus heb ik er witte ATC kaartjes mee gekleurd. Nog geen idee wat ik ermee ga doen.

A quick and easy tag for my black & white series. I stamped the Plaid Background on a white tag, used a black & white photochip from Darkroom Door. "Dream" is from one of their wordstrips.

Een snel en makkelijk label voor mijn zwart-wit reeks. De Plaid achtergrond gestempeld op een wit label, een zwart-witte foto van Darkroom Door gebruikt. "Dream" is uit een van hun wordstrips geknipt.

The butterfly is stamped on smooth watercolor paper and cut out with embroidery scissors.

De vlinder is op glad aquarelpapier gestempeld en met een fijn borduurschaartje uitgeknipt.

No stamping on today's black & white card. I was inspired after seeing Jolette's cards. It was fun :) Card size is 4" x 4".

Niets gestempeld op dit zwart-wit kaartje. Ik zag deze kaartjes op Jolette's blog, en wou ook eens een poging doen.

Two ATCs for my Black & White series. I combined several stamps from Oxford Impressions and also used my own photo stamp on the ATC at the right.

Twee ATCs voor mijn zwart-wit reeks. Verschillend Oxford Impressions stempels gecombineerd, en mijn eigen fotostempel gebruikt op de rechter ATC.

Black & White - 28

On today's black and white cards I used a good old classic Hydrangea stamp by PSX.

Vandaag nog eens een goeie ouwe stempel uit de kast gehaald voor mijn zwart-wit kaartjes: de hydrangea van PSX.

Heat embossed on vellum, and carefully cut out.

Op vellum geëmbossed, en voorzichtig uitgeknipt.

I cut the image in half, and made 2 cards with it. I used small stitches to attach the vellum to the black cardstock. The black cardstock I used are ATC backs.

In 2 geknipt en er 2 kaartjes mee gemaakt. Met kleine steekjes op het zwarte karton vastgemaakt. Het zwarte karton dat ik gebruikte zijn ATC achterkantjes.

Stamp: PSX - not available anymore, but Hero Arts has a beautiful Hydrangea stamp too
