I spoiled myself with this little basket, full of tulips. Made a bunch of photos and added textures from Shadowhouse Creations in PSE7.

And here it is on a quick card. Stamp is from AudDesign.

Black & White - 42

It's Black & White Saturday on my blog. I made a very quick and super easy card, using one of Darkroom Door's new photo stamps, combined with a few stamps from the Christmas Reindeer set, to turn it into a Christmas card.

Zaterdag is zwart-wit dag op mijn blog. Een heel snel en super makkelijk kaartje, gemaakt met één van de nieuwe Darkroom Door fotostempels, gecombineerd met een paar stempeltjes uit de Christmas Reindeer set. Zo werd het een kerstkaartje.

Backgrounds

A few weeks ago I made this piece, using Glimmer Mist #Raven on the background. There was so much ink left on my craft sheet, I didn't want to waste it. So I sprayed more water, and added drops of ink from refill bottles. I ended up with these papers, enough for lots of cards.

Een paar weken geleden maakte ik deze boog, met Glimmer Mist #Raven op de achtergrond. Er bleef heel veel inkt op het craft sheet achter, die ik niet wilde verknoeien. Dus spoot ik er water over, en voegde druppels inkt uit navulflesjes toe. Dit was het resultaat. Genoeg om een aantal kaarten mee te maken.

A quick and easy tag for my black & white series. I stamped the Plaid Background on a white tag, used a black & white photochip from Darkroom Door. "Dream" is from one of their wordstrips.

Een snel en makkelijk label voor mijn zwart-wit reeks. De Plaid achtergrond gestempeld op een wit label, een zwart-witte foto van Darkroom Door gebruikt. "Dream" is uit een van hun wordstrips geknipt.

One of my garden photos, printed on white Papicolor cardstock. I love to combine my photography, stamping and cardmaking. Stamped with Distress Ink #Vintage Photo.

ATC- Memories ink

Two quick and easy ATCs I stamped, to test my (very old) Memories shadow inkpads. They were hiding behind my Distress inkpads. I expected they would be completely dry, but they are still very juicy ;) I used glossy cardstock.

Een paar snel en makkelijke ATCs gestempeld, om mijn (heel oude) Memories shadow stempelinkt te testen. Ze waren weggestopt achter stapeltjes Distress Inkt. Ik had verwacht dat ze uitgedroogd zouden zijn, maar dat was helemaal niet het geval ;) Gestempeld op glanzend cardstock.

The cover of this tag book is cut from Darkroom Door's montage sheet Full Bloom. I stamped the French Script background with Distress Ink #Brushed Corduroy.

I love the size of Darkroom Door's background stamps. I cut 6 tags from cardstock, stamped the French Script on 3 of them, and the Dots Background on the other tags.

I used the Tonic paper distresser on all edges.

Een tag uit de Full Bloom Montage sheet van Darkroom Door geknipt, en als kaftje gebruikt voor dit labelboekje. Met Distress Inkt #Brushed Corduroy de French Script Background er op afgedrukt.

Zes labels geknipt uit cardstock. Gestempeld met de French Script background en de Dots background. Alle randen met de Tonic paper distresser rafelig gemaakt.

One Stamp Card - 7

I was printing some photo's, and decided to print Cynnie's freebie background too on glossy photo paper. I stamped Hero Arts flowers with Distress Ink #Black Soot, added gemstones and ribbon. Quick and easy :)
Ik was foto's aan't printen, en dacht eraan om ook Cynnie's mooie achtergrond te printen die ze weggeeft op haar blog. Bloemen van Hero Arts gestempeld met Distress Inkt #Black Soot, steentjes opgeplakt. Snel en makkelijk, met zo'n kant en klaar achtergrondje :)

I think I pressed too hard, or too long. The paper was sticking to the stamp and took bits of paper off when I removed it. It caused these little white spots, which I actually like. Happy accident :)

Beetje te lang en te hard aangedrukt denk ik, want hij plakte vast aan het papier. Na het losmaken zag ik witte puntjes in de afdruk, en stukjes papier die aan de stempel waren blijven plakken. Wel mooi vind ik :) Een geluk bij een ongeluk.

Black & White - 24

Two simple black & white cards.

I often use this Hero Arts stamp on cards. It goes for many occasions.

Dit Hero Arts stempeltje gebruik ik vaak op kaartjes. Het past bij veel gelegenheden.

I stamped these Stampers Anonymous images on Darkroom Door's Plaid Background and cut them out.
Deze Stampers Anonymous stempels zijn afgedrukt op Darkroom Door's Plaid Background en uitgeknipt.

Seems I'm using this Plaid Background quite often on my Black & White cards.

Ik geloof dat ik deze Plaid Background dikwijls gebruik op mijn zwart-wit kaartjes.

A Box of Roses

No stamping on these cards. When I posted my roses photo on my photo blog Close-Up, a few readers said it would look good on a greeting card, so I had to give it a try :)

I printed on cardstock and on glossy photo paper. The photo at the end of this post shows the difference.
Niet gestempeld op deze kaartjes. Toen ik mijn rozenfoto op mijn fotoblog Close-Up postte, zeiden enkele lezers dat ze goed zou staan op een wenskaart. Dus dat wilde ik proberen :) Geprint op Papicolor cardstock en op fotopapier, met verschillend resultaat. Op de laatste foto in dit bericht kan je dat verschil zien.

Printed directly on Papicolor cardstock. It has a bit of texture.
Gewoon op Papicolor kaartkarton geprint.

Printed on glossy photo paper.
Op glanzend fotopapier geprint.

Butterfly

Square 4" card. I stamped the butterfly with Distress Ink #Wild Honey, and overstamped with a hint of black ink. Background is colored with Distress Inks.
De vlinder is eerst met Distress inkt #Wild Honey gestempeld, daarna lichtjes met zwarte inkt er overheen gestempeld. Achtergrond met Distress inkt gekleurd. Kaartje is 10 x 10 cm

Another "Art De Fleur" Card I made for Darkroom Door. After coloring the flowers with pencils I stamped and distressed the background with Distress Ink #Old Paper & Vintage Photo.

A quick and easy card, size is 4".

I stamped the Frangipani background with Distress Ink #Tattered Rose & Custy Concord.

The big flower is stamped on watercolored (ecoline inks) paper.

I cut through 2 layers of cardstock with Spellbinders Nestabilities #Big Scalloped Squares LG in my Cuttlebug, and it came out like this with an embossed edge.
